Informative but a bit to much emphasis equity and not enough on medical science.

I am impressed with the breadth of information presented, the focused brevity, the clarity of speech, and quality of recording, each of which has been an issue in other medical podcasts that I’ve followed. Sincere Thanks, H. Messec, MD

It’s a journal of medicine, why so much one-sided political commentaries?

This podcast helps me keep up with up-to-date stuffs as a medical student. I would give it a 5 star if not for the narration that made me feel like I’m listening to the podcast on 0.5x speed.. I have to increase the playback speed every time I listen so that my brain wouldn’t be bored

I truly enjoy the format of this podcast. Great way to stay up to date on the latest research. I always bookmark the summaries that appeal to me most, and read the full publications later on.

We all know the New England Journal of Medicine has reliable and up-to-date content. Is there a reason why it has to be read in a voice that seems to be imitating a robot? It sounds like they have asked Siri to read the articles. It is very distracting!

As a medical student, this is really perfect to keep up to date with clinical materials

I think the narration is excellent! Very clear and easy to listen to -not sure why someone would label it "annoying". As a licensed clinical Social Worker who practices in an ambulatory oncology setting it is vital that I maintain a current knowledge of Cancer diagnosis and treatment as...Read full review »

This is such important information but the way this podcast is narrated is very annoying.

I love science- I am a medical student, and I am looking for some easy ways to keep up to date on recent scientific developments. Here is the problem- this podcast is literally just someone reading the articles. There is no discussion or explanation, it is quite possibly the least accessible...Read full review »

There’s so many podcasts on health out there but it always feels like they’ve watered the material down for public consumption....FINALLY this podcast gives great substance and is a tremendously interesting resource in getting a dip into the healthcare field.

This podcast is too political. The liberal lean is tiring.

If you’re going to create a podcast of some of the most impactful clinical research in the world, have it delivered by engaged experts who can put it in context, and deliver it with some enthusiasm. As it currently stands, I find it difficult to listen to the dry monotone descriptions, which lack...Read full review »

As an MD/PHD student preparing to return to clinic, the NEJM podcast is perfect for keeping up to date on clinical practice while on the go. The format is perfect for a quick listen and the narrator is clear and concise.

Great to listen on the go! Would be improved by time stamping each article similar to other podcasts (see the Rachel Maddow show) so you could move quickly to the article you ar interested in

The knowledge imparted over the past decade through these podcasts has been edifying. Sometimes an interesting medical topic will be presented in a podcast, and then years later the topic will come up and I will recall when and where I was when heard the information through the podcast.

I love this podcast! It's a great mix of both big (disease tx and social topics) and small (cellular level interactions) picture nuiances in medicine. Thank you so much NEJM! I do wish your interesting case reports included outcomes more frequently.Read full review »

One can listen to the podcast while driving to work. Very eloquent speakers and generally comprehensive and concise summaries.

The presenters read article summaries in an utterly disinterested monotone. Yes, NEJM has interesting articles, but the thoroughly boring presentation makes it tough to pay attention.

These are so well done. Clear and succinct. The presenters voices are easy to listen to so you can take in what they're saying (though it's concentrated stuff!). Fewer topics & more "detail" would be nice. The case report was nice right up to the point the narrator essentially said "read the article". Let NEJM subscribers have more.Read full review »

I have trouble keeping up with the latest literature, so this is a good way to get the summary of this weeks NEJM.
