Neon Washed, Screaming Saxophone Hyper-Violence
Imagine your favorite campy 80/ early 90s action movie. Got it?Big hair, big Fx budget, dystopian metros, LOTS OF NEON. Good. Now have the main characters (a ragtag band included a trucker and a children's show host) generally kill or maim everyone in their way while getting good and messed up on future drugs and Vaseline while convincing themselves that they are the heroes. You may know real-play podcasts, but not like this. With talented actors and excellent world building you won't be sure whether you're watching a movie or watching improv...but it's a podcast, you goof.Read full review »

Guy who is picky about games via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/02/17
This podcast gets down to the soul of tabletop gaming, which is ignoring all carefully crafted quest hooks in favor of messing around with random NPCs. Plus the intro music sounds like the intro to a wholesome 90s sitcom, which is probably the best music to associate with Shadowrun.
