Best Renal Podcast Around
Hi, my name is Matthew “The Renin (pronounced like the bird, wren-in) Man” Sparks, and all I have to say is that the renals rule. That’s right. I said renals. You know, those two organs situated halfway down your back? Some say they produce urine, but we all know what they really produce is homeostasis. Anyways, those are your renals. And listen: renal disease is bad. I conduct renal research to help prevent renal disease, and I read renal journals to learn from my colleagues how we can keep the renals healthy. I contribute to this renal podcast here to spread the renal gospel, and I hope you all are learning from this wee filtrate. I also invite you all to join us on Renal, I mean Neph, JC on Twitter at #NephJC twice monthly. Hey, in all honesty, I love what y’all are doing. You’re leading the way - every medical specialty should take note and strive to create the same sort of online learning community. And @nephro_sparks, don’t worry - I’m spreading the kidney gospel at my residency program in NYC. It’s actually End Stage Kidney Disease and REE-nin.
