After skipping forward 7 minutes without hearing the title topic mentioned I give up. I did however hear jokes glorifying alcoholism, multiple off topic ads, mentions of the hosts’ other content and the podcast url where presumably I can find even more signalless noise. Maybe the audience for...Read full review »

The quality of the content, the eloquent teaching method, and the humility the hosts portray themselves with, in spite of the wealth of experience they actually have, are few of the great things which make this pod cast one of the best sources to stay up to day with advances in .Net and Azure...Read full review »

You are brilliant, I started listening to podcasts because of you, your topics, guests, style and the conversation amazing source of education and learning on the go, while I’m cooking, in the bus, metro or setting doing nothing. You are just awesome, keep it up

Very good talks on .net, I learn a lot from this. You learn from a bird eyes view, which I have miss in “normal” technical presentations.

My title says “one of the best” but I think it might just be “The best” .NET podcasts. I listen to you guys everyday on my way into work and on my way home. I feel like I’m always learning something new or interesting and the way in which you deliver the content isn’t mundane or tedious like you...Read full review »

Seems to have gone downhill recently with the quality of guests and topics. Get the top Microsoft guys back in and don’t talk over them please.

This is absolutely a great podcast for .net and related technologies. I have been listening to this podcast for almost forever. It is surprising though that it got only 10 ratings in iTunes.

I was very excited for a MS data/programming podcast but after listening to a few episodes I found it to be more banter than actual information sharing. Needs Better Structure/Agenda. It would be great if you set out a timeline. Ex. 5 minutes of your chit chat 5 minutes .Net/MS news...Read full review »

I’ve been a .NET Rocks listener for 12+ years now. This show has been and continues to be one of the few podcasts that I choose to listen to during my commutes. I listen to practically every episode even if the main topic is not my forte. Hearing from knowledgeable guests about topics that I...Read full review »

I’m a junior .NET developer and this podcast has not only shown me new technologies and insights each week, but also the kinds of discussions that people at the top of this game are having. This podcast has been invaluable to me and is helping me grow as a developer.

Love the show. Just would love to hear more geek outs on topics such as cryptocurrency, digital realities , containers..etc

I was putting off listening to the geekouts until I caught up with core shows and now everything beyond last 20 shows is gone off Apple’s Podcast app. Hope it’s a glitch.

I have listened for 14 years. Other podcasts have passed away, but the original is still here. Great content. Great guests. Too much info to take in but there is a show for every topic.

One of the primary to start listening to podcasts was DotNetRocks. Thank you guys. One minor gripe: on few occasions the discussions digress from the main topic. Please try to keep in on topic

The podcast that has been running so long it's not called a podcast. Great content every time. I've been a fan since 2005, since then I never stopped listening! I even looked for podcasts about .net that match the levels of knowledge, entertainment, engagement, and simply I couldn't find! If you are a .net developer, you can't be missing this, period!Read full review »

Carl and Richard compliment each other so well and every single episode is a treasure trove of knowledge. And the GeekOuts are the best.
srvart via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/18/13
Several times, the podcast is filled with takes of the announcer talking over the actual content. The episode on the service stack had no audio. The geek-out podcasts are never relevant and mostly a waste of time. The theme song is tired and annoying. That said, there is a lot of good content...Read full review »

I listened to this podcast for the last two years and unfortunately Carl and Richard are running out of interesting topics. I am un-subscribing now and hope to find a podcast that covers Microsoft and .NET technlogy in more depth. The last episodes seemed like a complete waste of time.
