Poor audio quality
A podcast is an audio product. If the sound quality isn't good, it ruins the podcast. The June 29 episode host sounds like he was recorded in a bathroom with a tape recorder from the 80s. The guest only sounds somewhat better. Since a lot of people listen to podcasts while doing things in an environment, where there is ambient noise, it's important that the podcast have sufficient volume, and that the levels of different speakers are all normalized to the same level.Read full review »

I recently read Roxanne Dunbar Ortiz’s History of indigenous people in US and now am trying to catch up w new scholarship. This podcast has a fantastic range of topics and well done interviews. Good length. As a newcomer I feel so grateful to the information.

the pantheon of New Books series is great. Not only do I get an interesting interview with the author about her work, I also get insights into the research and writing process they followed to create their book.
