Disappointing
Nadia is so cringe. Everything she says is spat out in anger. It’s just not believable someone could be that ‘on edge’ all the time. I think the other actors do a decent job but they should have focused on some political plot point with factions vying for power. Instead they’ve gone for lots of action scenes so there’s lots of shouting and grunting. The sound effects and music are quite good though. At one point Nadia gets hit so hard by a demon she is knocked to the floor. You couldn’t hear in her voice that she’s had the wind knocked out of her or she’s scared. She says in her most anime optimistic voice ‘no matter how many times I’m knocked down I’ll get back up’. I nearly died of cringe.

I’m thoroughly impressed with how the team was able to create such an immersive experience using sound alone, I can follow along so easily with just my mind.
