In this edition of Campus Voices, Rick Alloway interviews Daniel Ellsberg, the whistleblower who's release of the Pentagon papers in 1971 exposed which Ellsberg said "demonstrated unconstitutional behavior by a succession of presidents, the violation of their oath and the violation of the oath of every one of their subordinates", and that he had leaked the papers in the hopes of getting the nation out of the Vietnam war.

George McGovern was a United States Congressman, Senator, and Democratic presidential nominee, who lost the 1972 presidential election in a landslide to incumbent Richard Nixon. McGovern was noted for his opposition to the Vietnam War, a legacy that has grown ever brighter as America struggles with it's military involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan. On a visit to the University of nebraska-Lincoln, McGovern shared a few of his current perspectives with Rick Alloway.
