“I think Louise Newson has done an amazing job of highlighting menopause and increasing awareness. I do worry there is now an agenda and a bias towards ‘hrt is good’. I take hrt; I currently believe the benefits outweigh the risks. But, would Louise be unbiased and report evidence against the safety of hrt with the same vigour. I worry it would be dismissed because her mind is made up. Lots of people rely on her for ‘unbiased evidence’ and I am not convinced she is unbiased.”
