This Just Ain't Working...
I'm sorry...first of all, the writing is super cringey. They're also playing it TOO safe. Almost like they're worried to offend anyone. This is "Comedy" get gritty and real...unless this show is straight up for kids but they're advertising it as as show for mid 20s, and this just isn't authentic. Also I appreciate that they're trying to do an audio sitcom, but the format of the show just doesn't translate. Too many characters and they're too similar in voices that I found myself confused as to who was talking...eventually with the dull/ flat story line and too many voices in one scene, I just gave up. This is my first foray into comedy podcast, but I’ve been a long time Join the Party listener. The people of Multitude always put their heart and soul into every production they do, and this is no different. The sound design and music are on point. I can’t wait to see where the story leads!.
