I search for a deep ethical and moral appreciation from Russians themselves, of how their colonialism and exceptionalism is responsible for this criminal attack on a neighbour (and all the criminal attacks on neighbours that preceded it). This podcast doesn’t really get there. It tries, but there is still a sense of Russian victimhood (which turns into aggression and sadism) that will always avoid accountability. It is very sad.
