These crimes happened to real people
While I enjoy true crime and have been listening to this podcast over the last few days I’ve been compelled to actually write a review. I feel like the host constantly making puns is extremely rude to the victims and their families. I don’t know if they are being made to “lighten” the details of the crimes or what but this is a crime podcast, not a comedy show. I don’t find them funny, I find them to be somewhat rude when telling the story of what happened to a real life person. Other than that, the stories have been intriguing.

For the love of Jesus and everything holy whoever is writing the script for the narrator please stop. The puns are awful and way too plentiful. It’s gag inducing 🤢 especially when it’s about murder. Yikes!

Tried 3 episodes and I can’t do any more. The endless metaphors are distracting and tactless. This isn’t a comedy murder podcast.

I can barely follow the story because of all the different background sounds/music. How many screechy noises are needed to tell a story??…UPDATE: still has crazy loud background music and it’s ridiculous music too! It literally sounds like a work training video. I just can’t listen anymore.
