Vanity project
I had high hopes for this podcast, but found it provides very little actual information, favoring instead the creator's personal theories. Some ethical concerns were raised by one series - I think it was the Maura Murray case - in which the host made vague references to the 'seedy past' of the missing woman and her family. Though no evidence for this was produced, the host concluded she had disappeared to escape her past, probably for safety concerns....and then proceeded to outline how hard he is trying to track her down. It is just really upsetting that someone would come to a firm conclusion that a person had valid reasons to vanish, and then feel justified to violate those wishes and outline publicly how methodically he's going about it. Unsubscribed (from podcast addict).Read full review »

I heard about this show from a friend and can't believe how much I enjoy it. The show is well put together, sounds great, with great stories about Atlantic Canada. This should be on CBC radio!Read full review »
