I love the stories and would have this as one of my favourites except for one thing that really bugs me. The narration is much too fast. It ruins the whole atmosphere and I can no longer listen. PLEASE slow it down.

Rabia has the perfect voice for storytelling. The stories are creepy and NOT over dramatized, which I love. I have stopped listening to other story telling podcasts in the past because the narrators dramatization is so over the top, I feel it takes away from the story. The fact that the...Read full review »

This is one of my favorite podcasts, along with the Hidden Djinn. I’ve been educated, fascinated and entertained. Rabia is a force! Intelligent, curious and has the most alluring voice. Love both of Rabia’s podcasts! Keep the episodes come!

I love the story telling and the explanation of relation to historical events! I love the uniqueness of this. My only meh is the interviews with guests. They are great interviews, but what I look for when coming here and I end up skipping those sometimes. I hope there are many many more stories...Read full review »

Follow and listen, you will not be disappointed. Amazing stories drawing inspiration from classic horrors with strange and interesting themes. Rabia is such lovely narrator, I really turn off with some horror story podcasters but she's soothing on the ears and the stories are gripping! I...Read full review »

I do like to listen to this while I couldn’t sleep and I’m hopeful that all the stories don’t have bells ringing or trains crashing or any kind of loud sounds. Greatly appreciated a mellow tone. Rabia’s lovely voice sounds similar to Susan Saint James. I know you’ll have to look her up. I wish...Read full review »

Pandemic 😷 episode is so clever!!! In tune totally with the CRAZY 😜 thinking of some people today!!!! Great way to send a message and stay current! The scariest part was finding out these stories are TRUE!

Awesome stories and Rabiya is an amazing story teller. Miss her episodes of Hidden Djinn. Only criticism is the amount of advertising. I can appreciate podcasts need sponsorship support but it’s just so jarring. Just when you’re really getting into a story, then the ads come up and…sigh. It’s...Read full review »

Updated, Aug.2022: this podcast remains riveting. I continue looking forward to each next episode. I subscribed to this podcast to hear the scary short stories. They were well written, spooky and it was good to get a fictional break if you’re used to listening to true crime. But, in the off season, Rabia switched to interviewing people based on the stories. I’ve found her to be doing 95% of...Read full review »

Ugh
The previous creepy story telling was so much better than the true crime.

What happened to this podcast?! It used to be one of my top favorites. Unfortunately, it’s gone down hill since every episode is now a guest interview. How much longer is this going to last? Definitely lost interest 😕 I may start listening again if Rabia goes back to actual story telling.
Nihi_Lee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/09/22
This was an excellent podcast until she started with in interviews. If you want to do that…call it something else, like interviews . I was listening for the stories. You lost me. Not interested.

If you’re a fan of horror or true crime, Nighty Night is a great listen. A few episodes have been duds in my opinion, but most are solid and some have been truly exceptional. The writing is always good and Rabia does an excellent job bringing the story to life with nothing but her voice, some...Read full review »

This is the first of this podcast I’ve listed to. I caught two mistakes in it. Richard Evonitz killed three girls in Spotsylvania Virginia not Pennsylvania. I love this podcast & the stories..I was so happy to find it‼️ But now I continue to skip the “discussion” ones. A good example is todays about Belle Gunness.I don’t know everything about Belle but I think I know enough. Please just return to your excellent storytelling..

I love this podcast. It introduced me to the world of horror and crime podcasts, and Nighty Night still remains my favorite. Stories are great but the guest shows through this summer are garbage. I stopped listening but I’ll be back when there are actual stories. Don’t ever do this again we want stories not a talk show.

These stories are so well written and compelling, I’ve found myself lost in them while doing my work and the day just flies by. Rabia Chaudry is such a great narrator too, very smooth and just perfect cadence. I love short story podcasts these days and this one is absolutely what I am looking for!
