Listening to this after listening to season 1 on Adrenaline from Realm has filled my life with joy. Epic storytelling, voice acting, and sound design. I wish there was a season 3!!

Well written voice acting is incredible. Fantastic story, if you love Japanese tradition and culture you’ll love this. My all time fave podcast. I’m really really looking forward to season 3. They have to mange it the story is completely unresolved.

This is the kind of sophisticated, well written, well performed, multi-cultural futuristic sci-fi with noir crime fiction I have been begging for. Please say there will be a third season?

Really enjoyed it an binge listened both seasons. The concept of the 3 countries Japan’s, China and USA cramp together in the Tokyo area is very interesting.

I hope there’s a season 3!

the execution falls flat for me. Idk what it is, but I keep falling asleep on it. I’m going to keep trying to listen a little while longer to hopefully get into it because I do think it has potential and I want to like it. Will report back.

This show is amazing. The story, the characters, and voice acting are great. I was hooked on the first episode. I am super stoked for a third season. Give it a listen, you won’t regret it. When will the third season come out?

Emily Woo Zeller’s voice acting is so over the top it takes me out of the story every time. Everyone sounds like a Jessica rabbit style cartoon caricature of a real human being. And don’t get me started on how she voices men. Ugh. I’m sad to leave this review because i love Realm, Malka Older,...Read full review »

File compression skips on most episodes and many ads. Stories are interesting with good narration and sound fx. Real politics thrown at the entry of one episode.

Enjoyed the voice acting and futuristic feel.

Absolutely brilliant! Great story telling and world building and voice work. Although the characters Japanese names a very hard for me to keep track of. I sometimes find myself having to use context clues to figure out who she is talking about. That’s literally the only downside to this show

I normally don’t write reviews, but this was/is a great story. Listened to both seasons in about 4 days. There has to be a season 3. Keep it going!! Both narrator and plot are fantastic!

I think this would be a great story but I can’t get pass the constant narration. I’m sure it’s just me but the actors voices do a great job. We don’t need narration every 5 - 10 seconds. The narrator should set up a scene and let the actors act it out. They actors are great so why not let...Read full review »

Very cyber-punky and paints a very visual image for me, I love it. I’m also a huge fan of this narrator. They’re extremely talented, have a great voice and I usually find very it easy to distinguish between characters

Not only are the ‘buddy cops’ female but it takes place in a post war geopolitical future Japan! The stories are amazing! Please keep up the wonderful stories, voice acting and sound production.

I really enjoyed this podcast. I did’t need lots of background music to thoroughly enjoy the episodes. The character development was intriguing even if one woman voiced them all. Really well done.

I’m obsessed. This is one of my favorites from Realm. So good and so addicting. I want more and more.
wineg1rl via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/26/22
Too many small, unnecessary details make the story drag on…and it does sound like a written story being read aloud because of the odd decision to have one single woman do the narration and all of the characters, including the men. There’s very few side effects and no music, adding to dryness.

Over all I really like this story but it seems like the upload to apple podcasts may not have been so great. I switched to Spotify and it stopped skipping chunks of time here and there. Also, I’m on episode 3 and the character Emma seems bizarrely aggressive compared to the previous two...Read full review »

First episode I was hooked. Subscribed to Realm on the back of that. Fantastic stories

I love the storyline and the characters. Interesting setting as well. I like the voice actor. She does a good job distinguishing characters. I also like that each episode wraps up that mystery. You aren’t left hanging.

Awesome setting, really compelling mystery, great buddy cop duo. Inspired me to start studying Japanese again!

The two main characters have a great odd-couple/buddy-cop vibe. I also like that one of them is queer! The cyberpunk Tokyo setting is cool too.
changesuponchanges via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/20/21
I cannot get enough of this. Hits the spot for crime drama, cyberpunk/futuristic Tokyo and strong female leads. More seasons please!!
