Seems to have evolved into Agenda
I'd been listening to the show from the first couple episodes when they talked a bit about media, tech, food, etc. The first thing to know is that Adam is a conspiracy nut, actually believing in conspiracies that are demonstrably, logically, and obviously false. UFO and alien conquest type conspiracies, the US using demolition experts to destroy the WTC. I thought he was doing a bit, but unfortunately not. When they talk about the current election cycle they prove to be the worst of the uninformed masses. The biggest problem with the American electorate is their nearly complete lack of knowledge of the history of the US, and the willingness to learn even a modicum background of the candidates this cycle. John and Adam, don’t seem to understand the way the electoral college works, how the tax system and general economic principals function, and generally regard the election of the most powerful player in the world, as a reality TV show. The Sarah Palin show, was indicative of the problems, after spending 60 or 90 minutes uttering strings of incoherent words, with both no internal or external logic, they both thought she was great, which ensures that smart people cannot take them seriously. I could imagine high school sophomores having discussions at this level, but at least they would have the advantage of more education coming in the future. When they talk about the things that they are purportedly expert in, web and tech industries, it gets slightly better, but their track record in prediction is quite bad, and they seem to actually know fundamentally no more about these topics than any other. As entertainment some parts of the show succeed, but they really shouldn’t try to discuss serious topics, they are woefully uninformed, and don’t seem to have the self awareness to know that they’re uninformed. Which makes them seem caricatures of American's the rest of the world has. So I’m obviously not a fan of the show, which is somewhat strange, as I actually like some of the things they do individually, but it is frustrating to listen to people so ill informed, acting as though they have some special insight. So if the interludes about food, wine, and Adam’s travels interest you, by all means, listen, but know, that is not a significant portion of the show any more.Read full review »

Every sunday I make a cup of tea and spend an hour of my day listening to Curry and Dvorak ramble on. It can be hilarious, aggravating, upsetting, nostalgic, and more. Every episode is unique and interesting, and even if I don't always agree with their point of views, they are both...Read full review »

Excellent podcast. Cover a wide range of political new not only from the US but from around the word and how it all ties together. I always thought Curry was a crackpot but my opinion of him has changed. He is a little out there but his assertions are based on an educated thought process. He...Read full review »

I used to be a staunch Dvorak hater (mainly because I'm a Mac user and he antagonizes Mac folk). But this podcast made me really like Dvorak because he talks a lot of sense and reveals his human side. The chemistry between Adam Curry and John Dvorak really works and the topics very...Read full review »
