Great potential; but a bit hack.
Entertaining and full of interesting ideas. But the content tends toward ungrounded speculation: the vacuous statements tend to diminish the effect of what might well otherwise be an excellent podcast. I mean c'mon guys: "the second Obama" from the latest show could've been a great metaphor. But it came off sounding like a piece out of News of the World. I don't imagine you intended to this bit to be a bizarre conspiracy theory, did you? The point is completely forgotten, not because you didn't have a point to make... more like you just forgot to make it. Stop doing that. It's silly. I'm giving this three stars, but should the hosts decide to put the research into knowing what they're saying and hold themselves to saying exactly what they mean - I'd come back and give this a much better review. They're intelligent and engaging hosts who need a kick.Read full review »
