This is a heartbreaking story which deserved to be better told. There is no content here: you’re lucky if an episode is twenty minutes long, and at the end of each we are told yet again that ‘next time’ we will hear whom some of the family thinks is responsible for the disappearance as if this...Read full review »

Podcasting at its best, great job. Poor little Mary, so sad.

Liked this podcast but really struggled to understand why they spent so long trying to get the guests to ‘name’ the suspect when they wouldn’t themselves come out and say it? No mention of the uncle. Convenient ml4 left out? Lots of beating about the bush. Misses the point and does not address...Read full review »

Very well told story. Well done.

There isn’t a lot there about this case, but this show is respectful and thorough as it traces what we do know. No lurid, tabloid-style trash here; this is a thoughtful victim-focused show, the way it should be done.

Well put together and reported. My sadness is in the inability to tackle the obvious. I’m pleased the profile of the case had been raised...

Really loved this podcast for the above reasons. Much recommended if you’re a fan of serial and other such podcasts.

Great Mix of a murder mystery with larger questions about how people spin their own tales to fill the blank spots.

Interesting podcast and terrible for the family but I do find it difficult when unknown podcasters think themselves so important that when people won’t be interviewed, they assume this is because there is something to hide. ( They seem to think ‘after all why wouldn’t this person / organisation...Read full review »

Engrossing. You think you know a story, and then you hear it in detail from the people who lived it, and it takes on a whole new force. Devastating.

I was hooked from episode 1. Amazed to hear the impact of Mary’s disappearance on her family today. Beautifully crafted, intimate!

This is a very moving, delicately made, fantastic podcast about a really tragic story. Highly recommend listening.

I remember hearing about this case over the years, it’s sad to listen to, can’t imagine what the family and relatives have gone through, the not knowing must be terrible.

Here’s hoping Mary Boyle’s family get some resolution soon.

This podcast is vital to raise awareness of Mary Boyle. I live two hours from where she went missing over the border in Northern Ireland and had never heard of her until I heard about it on a local radio station. It’s a tragic case and shocking that no one has been held to account.

Obviously, very sad what happened but this podcast is dreadful! You get the gist of it in the first episode and learn absolutely nothing new or of interesting from there onwards.
