Minutes of fluff for occasional value
Altman knows his craft as a recruiter and a job coach, but his podcasts are frustrating to listen to. I'd have dropped him from my feed if not for the occasional pearl of wisdom every third or fourth episode. Even then, you have to skip forward through excess fluff to find useful tidbits that you haven't heard several times before. The production values also leave much to be desired. After listening to the ad and the pointless intro the volume changes dramatically. Jeff may work the "folksy" and seemingly impromptu approach while one on one with his clients, but it comes across as amateurish on the podcast.

Jeff tells it like it is. He's not flowery just straight from the hip of a guy with loads of experience. Even though Jeff is doing this to promote himself and his business he's doing it by giving away thousands of dollars worth of advice, literally!
