021: THE 7 THINGS I HATE ABOUT COUNSELLING
Listen now
Description
I played '7 Things' by Miley Cyrus and felt like I REALLY HEARD IT FOR THE FIRST TIME. Shout out to transforming mental dialogue. In this episode we're doing what we do best: asking questions to ask more questions.I'll be attempting to ask the age old question: "why are you studying counselling?", then take you through some of the insights. Like why asking why is usually the wrong question to ask (excuse ME??), person-centered therapy, paraphrasing, Carl Rogers' unconditional positive regard, and the challenge of maintaining empathy without enabling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miss you dearly!!
