Fun and informative overall but with minor audio issues

“This is an excellent little podcast for listeners who are looking for a QI fix or are interested in random facts. The content is top notch -- focused on a few main facts, the elves flesh out each fact with relevant quick facts that never cross the line from fun and informative to overly pedantic.
As other reviewers have commented, NSTAAF has a few audio issues, but the microphone quality has definitely improved since the first few episodes; the QI elves were probably determining whether the podcast was worth using a higher quality mic system, and I'm glad that they did put in the extra funds.
The only audio issue I still have is the interlude music (the same tune from the intro/outro) in between each main segment. Like other listeners, I find this distracting, too loud, and frankly unnecessary . Having no music in between each main fact would be just as effective without being jarring. I hope that the elves address these issues in the future, but overall the podcast is a major hit and serves for great conversation fodder at a party if you're trying to impress your friends.”Read full review »

“I love No Such Thing as a Fish! I get to learn and laugh. I sleep to this after a busy college day, I wake up to this on Saturday & Sunday. Thanks for creating such genuine good content.”
