Make the guillotine great again
Interesting and well recorded. But acting like we should have sympathy for the bourgeoisie when they were starving and exploiting their people is divorcing this of historical context. Marie Antonette deserved what she got as did her husband. Painting her in a sympathetic light is gross.

Had to listen to it twice. Chilling, beautiful story telling. I love the soft piano in the background as the narrator tells this dark story. This is the kind of podcast I’ve been craving.

Beautifully observed, and alluringly performed. This is a dark, intriguing look at the humanity behind the nobility. Also very well produced. I was transported. This is a subscription that I will maintain enthusiastically.
