“I liked the writing in this but it makes no sense to me why there would be virtually no context provided about Marie Antoinette’s history and why this was all happening — not even a simple background paragraph. It seems like we are meant to feel sympathetic but unless you know a lot about the French Revolution (which I admittedly know almost nothing about) then this story means nothing.”
