Stick to the topic. No need to go after JK Rowling. Not everyone has drank the cool aid. Stand up for women in prisons. Stand up for women in refuges. Biology is real. Surely ask one of your doctor friends about this!

Each season is incredibly eye opening and gives such a good learning experience from perspectives that may not be as widely published. Love it!

As a medical professional diagnosed with CRPS myself, the reporting on the 3rd season was disappointing. It’s clear the nurse interviewed at the beginning of the season didn’t know what she was talking about. She incorrectly called the disease Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. Also, In the...Read full review »

…such as its willingness to push back against the populist (and totally unfounded) narrative surrounding the Maya Kowalski case. But the lack of critical thinking on other topics is a vast disappointment and there is no accountability or openness to engage with listeners on this (as someone who...Read full review »

Really hard to listen to. Not finishing. The audacity to call other outlets “one-sided”…2 stars for subject matter.

I enjoyed this podcast until I got to the episode where Take Care of Maya was discussed. I had to stop listening as I couldn’t believe the tone deaf commentary. It seemed that they only cared about the impact this would have on their cause, with no regard for Maya and her family.

Very well done. Sincere, genuine and not one sided. Approached with facts and empathy.

I won’t make it to season 3, because even in season 1, the red flags of bias were present. There was zero questioning about the “ecosystem” created between Cooks Children’s and the cops and the 10 fold increase in cases being investigated since a team was created to look for it? I believe this is...Read full review »

Eye-opening and well done, but I feel like, with Maya’s case, that the host was determined from the beginning to assume Maya’s mother was abusive, because she’s primed to do. I feel like she doesn’t seriously consider evidence to the contrary because she’s so clouded by her personal experience....Read full review »

Quickly becomes clear that the host has no idea what she's talking about. She doesn't have the qualifications, the experience or the background to talk intelligently about medical or legal issues, but that doesn't stop her from blathering on. Seems grossly unethical. And Don't get...Read full review »

Andrea, you’ve done a great job on season 3. This podcast is compelling, well written and thorough. Thank you for creating awareness and promoting the safety of children.

The blatant bias and one track narrative in the Maya case, casts doubts on the other seasons. Irresponsible in the reporting and story telling.

I stumbled across this podcast by complete accident, and it sparked my interest. I like this podcast but I find the 3rd season is just a rebuttal argument to the documentary “Take Care of Maya.” It really glosses over a lot of problematic material in favor of its argument that Maya was a victim of Munchausen by proxy. It insinuates that the doctor who certified that Maya did...Read full review »

How is Maya ever going to speak her truth. The verdict has put a gag on it. And The verdict has destroyed the little safety net we had in place for children. Thank you Andrea for presenting a lot more material around this case. A

I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of this show but in the back of my mind I kept wondering how you would address the fact that innocent people are being accused of this crime.
