Fascinating podcast ruined by projection
I’ve always had a really strong interest in MBP and so was excited to find this podcast recommended by a podcast subreddit. Unfortunately, though the host seems like a potentially great journalist and skilled interviewer, she projects SO hard onto Hope and also continually derails the interviews with the experts to hint around having a personal experience with the issue while refusing to detail what the experience was. While I understand that it’s possible she truly can’t legally talk about anything due to the fact her sister was apparently never found guilty (of whatever it is she did which the host just never says), it makes the whole thing highly uncomfortable because the host is essentially hinting at monstrous accusations without right out saying anything and that to me seems ethically dubious if not bordering on slander.

Thank you for creating this podcast. I cried, stopped breathing at times, reflected on every single episode and learned so much! I look forward to whatever comes next.

Andre does an amazing job narrating and discussing her experience. Very informative.

I was amazed from the ground up. It seems that the detective is key to the success in Tarrant County. I was sucked in to this podcast from the beginning; I been around pathological liars and I can see the similarities. Just chilling to think how much this goes on.
