Highly recommend
After seeing this podcast in my "recommended" feed for so long, I finally made some time to give it a go. My only regret is not doing so sooner. The stories, music, and editing are superb. I especially loved the episode on light pollution; it was surprising and beautiful. Thank you for this wonderful show! P.S. I think my reticence to start the podcast was related to my frequent bouts of insomnia and my own love/hate relationship with my night-occurring creativity. I was worried that the show would somehow get something wrong (or highlight the ways in which my own experience of night-work might be the strange one). I needn't have worried. Vanessa Lowe's masterful curation of stories and topics has only shown me how multi-faceted the thing I love and hold dear really is.Read full review »

More people need to listen to this program! This show is so interesting – it takes a concept and runs with it to all sorts of wonderful places. Each episode is very different in the subject matter but consistently engrossing and enjoyable. Keep up the great work!
