Amazing commentary on the “cut & thrust of modern politics”
I have to say Harriet speaks the truth. Even though I am an NHS nurse, I realise that the borderline poverty that I, & many colleagues are now facing, is our own fault for being so greedy, & expecting a pay rise which - at the very least - matches inflation. The audacity. Also it’s somehow the fault of train drivers, or some other low paid workers…it’s not clear, what IS clear though, is that the wonderful Tory government are NOT to blame, for any of this (sometimes old people just die, stop blaming poor Matt) & I appreciate that being highlighted on the show. Producer Martin, however, I have had my suspicions about from the beginning. He claims to be a centrist, but I think it’s clear to anyone with half an ear, that he’s a leftist shill, & a blatant one at that. Having said that though Martin, if you’re reading this, I do have a dirty socialist fantasy. So if Jane is - let’s say - otherwise engaged, you could always help me scratch that particular itch.
