When war broke out across Europe in 1939, it was a new experience for many. People living in countries occupied by the Nazis did the best they could to avoid the unwanted attention of their foreign invaders, hoping to be able to get on with their lives in some sort of peace. Others took a much more risky approach by starting resistance movements to counter act and halt the progress of their occupiers. But it wasn't just the one enemy these movements had to deal with, there was also the threat of an enemy much closer to home, an enemy hiding in plain sight. This is the story of Grethe Bartram.
