Finally, a deeper reading
I've always maintained that George RR Martin is, on a purely literary level, one of the great masters of fiction alive today. It's obvious that these two don't just appreciate the expanisve world, memorable characters, or intricate plots that ASOIAF is loved for, but the deeper themes George weaves in, which has so many people returning to the series again and again. And it's this quality of their analysis that sets the podcast so far above your average ASOIAF or Game of Thrones podcast. 5 stars, and well worth a subscription for any fan of fiction writing. I'm here for the entire ride.Read full review »

I listened to the audiobooks the first time, so I’m looking forward to a slower reread, following along with the hosts.

Thanks for doing this. Great insight and very entertaining. Two requests - Could you better balance the volume between the two presenters. One typically is much louder than the other. Also, how about a daily schedule? I'm antsy for the next installment.Read full review »
