“One chapter a week, and it never gets boring. These guys know their stuff, not just ASOIAF, but literature as a whole, fantasy more specifically, and they are probably a bit too passionate about their subject for their own good. They have just the right amount of perspective and self derision to make their weekly release and absolute pleasure to listen to. There's another re-read podcast out there, and I love it too. It's entertaining, and it makes me relive my first read through with other enthusiastic folks. But this one is different. It's a bit more serious, but not so much as to put you to sleep. It's fascinating. I'm actually improving my understanding of this rich series because of it, and I am grateful that they would take the time and effort to share YEARS of research and analysis with us, in such an easy to swallow format.”Read full review »
