“I used to enjoy the History Hit series immensely but it’s truly gone downhill, especially over the past year. I admire all of the hosts and used to get their now cancelled newsletters and follow on their social media. However, over time the amount of advertising in 25 minutes is astonishing. These episodes are not done to a level that would get me to pay - sound quality is terrible on ALL the different ones, and you certainly don’t get much detail in such a short time. Guests can be very hit and miss. There must be better ways to monetize than what they’re doing. Suzanne lipscombe is far better on tv than on audio, as well. Sad to say i almost never listen to ANY of the series anymore. I have actually now unfollowed.”
