Bravo
First generation American Beatles fan (yes, I saw them on Ed Sullivan) here who rediscovered the Beatles as I was approaching retirement. (The internet helped.) Why listen to NIR? Because of the hosts’ warmth, good humor and laughter even as they disagree; their incredible thorough research; the variety of their subjects ranging from the music (mostly) to the Beatles’ houses, to Stu Sutcliffe, and to even more than I thought I would like to know about Allen Klein. The episodes on Brian Epstein—including his death—were (like most) informed and tasteful. But never stodgy. NIR will tell you what you didn’t know and do it in a way that makes you want the next season to start soon. Plus, from this side of the Atlantic, their accents are an added delight. Five stars. Easily.

So thankful for each weekly instalment. I’m a HUGE Beatle fan, and know a lot about them already, but I always find out new stuff. When researched and entertainingly presented without ego getting in the way.
