Only 4 stars because . . .
This is one of the finest Beatle podcast anywhere. While many musical podcasts feature bland hosts treading water in “what if” scenarios or top 10 lists , masters Carty & Cockcroft understand that a broadcast must keep moving - and this one flows with facts , humor and their own personal chemistry. The Achilles heel of this show though is Cockcroft’s limp & continuous snobbery toward Paul - often in an attempt to overstate the value of George. The glee that is present in the disrespect of such a beloved and impactful artist undermines this shows otherwise joyous offerings and is why I could only give 4 stars.

I picked up on this podcast earlier this year (2020) when looking for a Beatles podcast that was less analytical and more fun. This turned out to be both analytical AND fun, and I have really enjoyed it. Binged the first season and half of season two and finally caught up. Definitely recommend!
