“This is a devastating and haunting case. It’s complex and I’ve enjoy many aspects of the first three episodes.
What I don’t enjoy is the repetition. The narrator frequently repeats things and she talks quite slow, which feels wasteful. I listen to the podcast on 1.5 to make up for the slow pace.
While I appreciate the reporting from the side of the biological parents, I don’t think it’s been very balanced so far. No mention yet that the state becomes the legal guardian and how this impacts the rights of the biological family. Strict confidentiality and privacy laws apply for foster care children so the desire to withhold certain information could be necessary.”
