Fascinating but could be better
This is a devastating and haunting case. It’s complex and I’ve enjoy many aspects of the first three episodes. What I don’t enjoy is the repetition. The narrator frequently repeats things and she talks quite slow, which feels wasteful. I listen to the podcast on 1.5 to make up for the slow pace. While I appreciate the reporting from the side of the biological parents, I don’t think it’s been very balanced so far. No mention yet that the state becomes the legal guardian and how this impacts the rights of the biological family. Strict confidentiality and privacy laws apply for foster care children so the desire to withhold certain information could be necessary.

Host, Caroline Overington, is thoughtful and compelling. The issues she explores surrounding the case also provide much insight. I am relieved she avoids repetitive background music that often accompanies such podcasts. This is intelligent and compassionate reporting. Thank you

I am finding the delivery of this podcast very difficult to listen to. The narrator speaks so slowly, seeming as though age will build to a dramatic climaxes but they never come.
