By episode 2, I’m sold
It’s clear that people had a lot of time to fill back when Hardy wrote his book. Hardy takes 200 words to say, “I walked through a field.” But Michael Ian Black doesn’t let Hardy get away with that without being scolded. I found myself talking to the podcast! Black is a master of accents, which really makes the laborious text come alive. If I was reading the book myself, I’m sure I’d wake up covered in Cheez-It crumbs, book pages stuck to my face with drool. ie: I would fall asleep. I think Black would be a wonderful audiobook reader. This was made for him to do. His voice is richly toned & again, his accents are well done. Likable chap & he likes Dr. Pepper too. Can’t ask for more.

More reviews of Obscure with Michael Ian Black

The extra layer of also talking about obscurity and being a person who feels on...Read full review »
