I’ve run out of other podcast episodes to listen to, so I stumbled across this and it’s decent to have SOMETHING to listen to. However, it seems like the entire thing is meant to be one huge ad for their movie they CONSTANTLY bring up. Voice acting is B-movie status and I’m betting their movie is...Read full review »

But including pointless interviews w Chloe Moretz is annoying

Wish it was actually informative. Stories are interesting but the voice actors are cringey and bad. Chock full of pseudoscience by “experts” but some actual psych data.

I like this podcast, but it can actually be really helpful when working on these themes to consult multiple professionals. The use of the term pathological is extremely controversial, and should really be reserved for people who are experiencing intense distress around a severe disorder. It’s...Read full review »

Thank you so much for this podcast! Excellent content, sound, voices, music,... deserves more than 5⭐️. Society needs more of this type of podcasts. Please continue with another season even if it’s about another (educational) subject.

Obsessed with this show and Alison Becker (in the “non-limerence” sort of way!) 🤪👍🏼

As a victim of stalking twice in my life and prior to stalking laws in those States, I find this incredibly interesting. Being stalked, to the point of violence, is a terrifying experience. I never understood why these guys did what they did but I’m starting to! Really great - keep it up.

I want to hear more. I found this podcast to be so interesting. I loved the interviews with everyone especially the experts who explained some of the psychology of what goes on in the minds of a stalker. I can’t imagine how frightening it would be to be to be pursued in this way. The fact that it...Read full review »

Dangerously conflates unrequited love and stalking. Ugh.

I really appreciate hearing people discuss actual studies they’ve performed and their findings on what is going on in our brains and why it might be happening. This isn’t another speculative guess rooted in unfounded claims. This is clear, unbiased findings. Thank you for your work!!

I keep listening for the actual story of the couple where he ends up stalking her after she breaks up with him but this podcast is written so oddly. It’s all out of order and honestly just a long ad for the movie Greta.

Hearing the definition of limmerance (sp?) has helped me understand what I’ve felt since I was a very young. I hope there will be more!

Interesting topics and real world examples. Actors, directors, and short commercials a mixed in with content in a way that spoils the whole thing. I can’t trust any of his because of the clear corporate ties to the “journalism.” Not annoying like those Tenderfoot guys, but similar credibility...Read full review »

It’s really great and has an abundance of potential, but just when I’m deeply involved, it ends abruptly. Also the way the information is relayed is a bit odd (not in a particular order).

This show is basically just one long commercial for the new film, Greta. Lame.

This series is like a book you cannot put down. I cleared all of the episodes in an evening. I am left wanting more. If you choose to listen, it won’t disappoint and you might even learn something about yourself.
Leesa via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/10/19
We’ll get ready to hear about Greta every 12 minutes while listening to this podcast. Too bad could be good but zero development of the people we’re hearing about just a snippet with splotchy if that follow thru. Also, GRETA!

Been there, felt that. This podcast perfectly describes the certain kind of “love” relationship that can become more important than work, sleep, and reality. Thank God I’m post-menopausal.

I really liked the podcast itself, but the tie-ins to Greta are excessive and cheap.

First off, the production value by Treefort of this podcast is second to none. This is very well put together, thought out and executed. It’s a pleasure to listen to for that reason alone — and content-wise it’s just so rich and salacious. The tales are vivid but they’re relatable and revealing....Read full review »

If they had structured this like “Dirty John” or “Doctor Death,” it could have been great. The story of the couple is riveting, but unfortunately, it’s the only part I care about. The rest is bad pseudo science “People with testosterone act like x” which is little better than astrology when it...Read full review »

I’m unaware of any tv show this might tie into and I had read a negative review that it wasn’t a true crime podcast. That’s what makes it great. There’s so many crime podcasts out there but this is a well researched examination of what goes on in real relationships (or ones that live in our...Read full review »

Casually dips into the topic of obsessive love, with too many tie-ins to tv show that it is funded by.

The incremental Will/Abby story - which seems by far the most interesting, or at least the most titillating - is doled out in snippets so small as to not leave one wanting more, rather it more like ‘never mind.’ If you’re looking for an intro to psych, this may be for you. If you’re looking for...Read full review »

It has a lot of potential, but feels like it skims the surface on a lot of what obsession entails. Each episode so far feels a little disorganized, and each anecdote is so briefly touched upon. It would’ve been so much more fascinating if they delved deep into the stories and the psychological...Read full review »
