Used to enjoy this
In its heyday was very entertaining, and I listened to every episode for years, but with the loss of the doc and Hutchie’s ever increasing tendency to mould it into his idea of an entertainment show that mustn’t mention football it completely ran out of steam, became unbearably repetitive, same gags, same stories, same cheap laughs, more and more reliant on poking fun on safe targets, over indulgent with insider (media personality) based content, and increasingly leaning on sentimental tosh from the very dull same old listeners who are encouraged to repetitively call in. Can’t stand Hutchie’s demeanour and humiliating way he treats new callers not on the regular roster when he feels they aren’t being entertaining enough. These aren’t professional broadcasters but average members of the public but Hutchie is happy to treat them in a completely dismissive way then wonders why no-one new wants to call in. Doc was a gem with these sorts of callers; he would help make them entertaining. Hutchie is just rude. Pickers is a good bloke but he needs to be partnered with people who can reinvigorate his act; Hutchie doesn't have the wit or imagination to do it on his own. From what was once my favourite podcast i have now unsubsribed.Read full review »

The 2 guys are only concerned about their racing tips and have no care for entertaining the listening audience, either talk about it in private or share them with the listeners. They should share them as they don’t have enough listeners to effect the odds.

I’m a latecomer to the show but enjoying the pod version on my commute during the week. I can’t see a Pepsi Max now without hearing Hutchy refer to it being opened as the ‘soundtrack to my Saturday’. Classic
