With Spurs royalty coursing through his veins from his grandfather, a certain double winner, Matt recounts the start to his Spurs journey which saw him signed at eight years old and progress through our Academy to earn a professional contract. Discussing his early years in Spurs Lodge, Chigwell, 'Wellsy' looks back on his memories in our youth system like the story of scrubbing Edgar Davids' boots 🧼 to then having to deal with serious injury setbacks just as he turned professional before embarking on a coaching career.
