Social > technical
Love this podcast generally, but it’s at its best when Jon and the guest talk about the social implications of the internet. Listening to someone like Ball talk about the metaverse was painful (and was he reading from a script? Sounded like it sometimes). Interviews like that are also a bit of whiplash from great conversations like the one on internet/tech addiction, which are easy to relate to. I guess what I’m looking for is either a) less guests like Ball or b) a bit more of Jon pushing back when they wax poetic about the potential of technology without seriously acknowledging the negative effects. Other than that, great concept, great pod.

Really depends on the guest. Scott Galloway was an amazing episode, funny, informative, thoughtful. Jennifer Senior and Jane Coaston as well, so smart. More like those!
