I enjoyed many of their investigations including Scientology and Mormons all the way down to ear candling. Their chemistry is usually enjoyable and their insights are often enlightening. I recommend going through their catalog and listen to any of the episodes with titles that sound interesting...Read full review »

I wrote a review five years ago and gave this five stars. This is still my favorite podcast and it wholeheartedly deserves five stars as you wrap it up. I just want to say thank you for all of the years of fun and learning. I plan to relisten to all of it. I feel like a dear friend is moving far...Read full review »

A long overdue review for my favorite podcast. I started listening when I was 12 years old and I'm now in my 20s. Ross and Carrie are funny, thoughtful people that have truly shaped who I am today. I also want to make special mention of Carrie’s interview episodes which she approaches with so...Read full review »

Thanks for all the investigations, insights, and laughs. Much love.

This truly is the most influential podcast I’ve ever listened to. Ross and Carrie are both amazing, insightful people. They have taught me so much about the world around me, while remaining hilarious the whole time! I wish Ross and Carrie all the luck in their future endeavors and thank them...Read full review »

This is a wonderful overall podcast I have enjoyed listening to for more than 6 years. Ross and Carrie have put out some exceptional investigations over the years and I still find I get a lot out of it. Listening to the episodes, especially pre-COVID (during which their format and investigations...Read full review »

While they are generally more generous in their takes on their experiences than I might be, it’s very interesting to hear Ross & Carrie’s experiences with both mundane and obscure topics. I love how they enter into each investigation recognizing their biases but setting them aside as best...Read full review »

Ross and Carrie are fearless, honest, funny, and crazy smart. They go to places that I have an unhealthy fascination with and then demystify, unpack, and explain them. They remind me that it’s a strange, funny world, and also that many people who seem dangerously unhinged are still reasonable-...Read full review »

The hosts are entertaining, and I’ve enjoyed many of the episodes. That said, I was very disappointed in how routinely they misstate or misinterpret scientific findings to support their preconceived opinions. Occasionally, this includes making misleading health claims that could do actual damage....Read full review »

Brand new to the podcast (saw a recommendation on reddit!) and so far I’ve listened to the Ayahuasca episodes. I’m on ep7 and can’t stop giggling at Ross’ notes from his experience. Absolutely brilliant, following! Love from London

I thought I was listening to Pro homeopathy show but really all they are doing is making fun of the subject. What is disappointment. I guess I missed the premise of their show

I like getting to tag along on the adventures in woo by proxy. I like that they treat the various practitioners with respect and kindness. As the episodes can be long on info and short on climaxes, I tend to use this as my putter-around podcast. I like to play this while I am engaged in house...Read full review »

I don’t even use Apple Podcasts to listen and I haven’t even finished the most recent episode, but I needed to download this app so I could leave this review. I only listened to the episodes pertaining to Whitley Strieber. Of those, I found the hosts smarmy, dismissive, and horrendously unfunny in their vain attempts to besmirch a man’s life work. Nobody can say what occurred to Strieber actually happened as he reported; it is thoroughly possible he...Read full review »

Here is why I appreciate Ross and Carrie 1. Sometimes you just want to take a break and listen to people who think like you do. It may be a little mean, but every once in a while, I get to laugh at people can believe ridiculous things. 2. That being said, they aren’t all that mean. Most of the...Read full review »

With a wide range of esoteric topics, Ross and Carrie are just skeptical enough, cynical enough, kind enough, honest enough, funny enough and intelligent enough to keep me tuning in each week.

After years of subscribing and supporting, I’m out. It comes down to: Carrie defending pedophilia as a sexual orientation, her smug high school bully attitude, and her surprise screeching/yelling. Then this podcast is for you. I was really hoping to hear a researched and journalistic take on a spiritual cult… but honestly these 2 really just like to spend time gloating in their obvious intellectual superiority over the people they’re investigating. If that’s your thing then enjoy!

Great show, the hosts have good banter. Topics are fun, don’t neglect the early episodes which offer deeper dives into well known cults.

Guys, when Carrie yells “Read Factfulness!”, do it. She’s right. I just finished it and it’s great. The podcast is cool too.

Kind of creeped me out when Carrie felt the need to go, “pedophilia is an orientation” in Sound of Freedom, while trying to differentiate from child sex abusers. Also they seem to be drifting into low-effort topics instead of looking into fringe religions like they used to.

Hey Tansy, I know you’ve been looking for a reliably funny-but-smart podcast to get into, so let me be the first (but certainly not the last) to sing for you the praises of ONRAC. I found these two hosts to be hard to listen to. In their episode on a Bashar event, they were consistent in their snide and demeaning remarks, which included jabs about age, body type, voice, and an Indie Gigi campaign. The hosts remind me of those kids in high school who made fun of everyone...Read full review »

I do like this podcast. I was a huge ONRAC fan from the beginning through about 2020ish? I don’t have an exact episode where this started bugging me.
