Great Monthly Podcast about Fringe Science
I was turned onto ONRAC after it was picked up by MaximumFun. Jesse Thorn mentioned they did an episode about a local 9/11 truther group, so I figured that would be a good place to start. I’ve long been drawn to conspiracy theorists. Ross and Carrie did a fantastic job describing the beautiful disharmony and ironic authoritarianism rampant in these groups. The only thing that could’ve made it better would’ve been a guest appearance by Jon Ronson. Maybe in a follow-up episode? Anyway, now I’m hooked. Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve listened to about a dozen episodes. At this rate, I’ll be completely caught up before the end of February. Then I’ll happily settle into their regular monthly schedule. I have a feeling this is going to be a staple on my iPhone for years to come.
