I only recently started listening (currently on sharks) thanks to a post about clutter in a FB group and someone said the OP should listen to the Ology on clutter. I listened (and cleaned out my junk drawer)…and have been listening ever since. It will take me a long while to catch up, but,...Read full review »

This show is full of the best people. Alie is a gem and her personality and enthusiasm is contagious. Her guests are great people too. I am a life long arachnophobe. I can’t look at a photo of a spider with out ending up having spider related nightmares. She did an episode of tarantula dancing...Read full review »

My gosh I LOVE this podcast. It’s truly the things I want to listen to even when I don’t know what I want to listen to. If that makes sense. You know. You’re like - I don’t want to listen to an audio book. And maybe not music or cbc either. This podcast is not only safe bet but thrilling. ...Read full review »

This podcast makes my life better everyday. I’m going through a stressful time and this podcast is a happy bright spot in my day. The combination of Alie’s delightful (perfect amount of swearing) personality and the Ologists’s amazing knowledge about so many fun things is magical. I love this...Read full review »

I love nothing more than to be a “did you know..?” type of human overflowing with random facts and let me tell ya - ologies is the gift that keeps on giving. If you like science and learning and laughing, you must listen. PS I knew the stars aligned for me to finally write my 5 star rave review...Read full review »

This is an absolutely binge-able podcast. To the point that I had a dream last night wherein I was talking to someone about how I was seen as an expert in the field of socks and thought I might get a call from Alie for an episode. I also got very excited that I thought I heard Alie’s voice on...Read full review »

Content that can’t be beat with the most captivating host! I listened to ologies so much during pregnancy and I’d like to think that’s why our little smologite is a redhead. Also, your intro tune is a great baby soother and a looped version would be appreciated! We love you dad Ward and Co.!...Read full review »

But Alie why didn’t you make it rhyme and say “enchanted with a mantid” 😭 love the show anyway, thanks bye!

Alie Ward does a great job getting an interesting and diverse selection of people to talk about their niche interests. Their passion and hers shine through on most every episode (except the penis episode which is a bummer of a guest). It can be nice to hear from people who may not be the most...Read full review »

Hi Alie! I'm a career editor and hobbyist science nerd with both a bachelor's and master's from Towson University (quick aside: it's pronounced TOW-son, like "Ow! My leg!"), and it was amazing to hear you talk with someone repping the ol' alma mater! Your questions are...Read full review »

I got started on Ologies thanks to a glowing recommendation from my dear friends from school, Alex and Georgia. We’re nearly 30 but listening to Ologies takes me back to our school days bonding over our love of weird critters like sloths and narwhals. Thank you, Alie, keep it up!

I’m late to the Ologies party but glad to be here - Columbidolgy was the gateway to 13.5 hours of Ologies bird episodes and now I’m hooked on Ologies beyond birds. My friends will be getting so many new fun facts (sorry in advance to them). Thank you for an incredible show!

I love this podcast and so does everyone I recommend it to. I’m glad Smologies has its own place but I definitely just listen to Ologies on car rides with my son through his early teens. The swearyness (I don’t think that is a word) makes science seem more fun and engaging.

Every night I put on an ology during dinner clean up / bath time and my one year old gets so excited she briefly hyperventilates when you start talking. 10/10 would choose Alie over Mum in a fire 😬
