I was in search of a pod that I could binge on my days off from work and found it in this gem. Ken & John have a comfortable chemistry as they squirrel away kernels of historical weirdness for future mankind. A time capsule of delightful, dweeby & Delphic moments in human affairs.

John Roderick is as hysterical, insightful, and esoteric as always. Who knew Ken Jennings was so engaging? These two friends discuss disparate topics in a free flowing and fun way. I love how it’s presented as a sort of Hitchhiker’s Guide for the apocalypse.

John and Ken take listeners on meandering trips through lesser known historic events and topics. The hosts effortlessly riff off of each other and that creates a natural flow to the podcast. If you’re looking for something a little different, give Omnibus a shot.
