So much more than a re-cap show
The beautiful thing about this is that it is much more than a re-cap show. Although the television show is nominally the topic of conversation, On House of Cards provides a pretext to bring together the most amazing assortment of Washington insiders and political observers to divulge the machinations of real-life political maneuvering. Incredibly, one comes away feeling that politics, even (perhaps especially) when dirty or amoral, can be frighteningly fun.
