Where are you Brooke?! I want some new shoes for the new season!!!

This podcast is a lot of fun. I feel like I get more about of each House of Cards episode by listing to the podcast afterward. It’s the quality of the guests that make the show. They can talk about what’s realistic and what’s not, and tell stories about similar things they might’ve seen or...Read full review »

One of the most entertaining podcasts available. The guest experts provide a wonderful context and background on "real" Washington vs. HOC's Washington. Currently they are covering Season 3; I hope they go backwards and cover previous seasons. Thank you to Brook Gladstone for this...Read full review »

I found the first two seasons of House of Cards to be incredibly compelling on their own. Without this podcast I'm not sure I would have made it through season 3. By the end, I watched the show so I could listen to the pod cast. Brooke Gladstone plays both fan and critic. Some guests are...Read full review »

I subscribed to thus because I never miss a chance to hear the incomparable Brooke. I don’t watch House of Cards due to the cognitive dissonance of Princess Buttercup being married to Keyser Soze. Notwithstanding, this pod cast is wonderful! It’s evenhanded, smart, witty, insightful and very...Read full review »

I love this recap show. Brooke hosts some pretty interesting guests and it's just the right blend of serious and snark.Read full review »

I love this podcast! I stumbled on it because I listen to OTM every week. This podcast is like the perfect dessert to the fine meal of House of Cards. Really smart, insightful and fun discussion about one of my favorite shows! Thanks to.....Brooke!

The beautiful thing about this is that it is much more than a re-cap show. Although the television show is nominally the topic of conversation, On House of Cards provides a pretext to bring together the most amazing assortment of Washington insiders and political observers to divulge the...Read full review »

This is a 2015 weekly podcast about a 2013 Netflix series/miniseries. The two year old miniseries is itself a remake of a twenty-five year old BBC weekly evening soap opera. From the middle highbrows of WNYC. What's not to be interested in, right? My judgment of the podcast may be biased by...Read full review »

Brooke Gladstone at her best. The guests are incredible and the analysis is fun and information.

The conversations about the show are really great, and I think it's fun to learn if there are precedents for any of the actions that Frank and Claire take during Season 3 of House of Cards. Plus, Brooke and her husband are totally adorable.Read full review »

I give it two stars because they have some good guests on the show, but all they do is talk about how bad the show is. Did they forget it is entertainment?

Funny and with very good insights on the actual Washington political life

The analysis is fun and the guests are notable. However, remind these guests HOC is fiction. Stop criticizing the show because "it would never happen". Analyze it for what it is...entertainment.Read full review »

I really enjoy this show for the most part, but I think you need to make it a point to counter balance your guests. In episode 2, you had two guests that made no bones about their dislike of the show. It made listening to that episode a chore. I'm a fan of House of Cards. That's why...Read full review »

This podcast is about fans of House of Cards dishing about each episode, the bonus being that these fans are either people involved with the show, political journalists or people who have been involved in Washington politics. To have collected this group of people and have them talk about this...Read full review »

Listening to Brooke and her guests discuss what House of Cards gets right and what the show blows makes me wish I could listen to Brooke taking on other shows, like The Americans or Veep. She's never cowed by the status or star-quality of her subjects or her guests. Also would love to hear...Read full review »

This is so much fun. I think the best so far features Roberts and Werthheimer skewering some of the impossibilities. Terrific companion to the series. Now I'm kind of slowing down with watching so I can get the commentary matched up. Way to go WNYC. And Brooke of course.Read full review »

What I would give to have Cokie Roberts, Linda Wertheimer, & Brooke Gladstone over to watch HOC and talk about politics. This is the next best thing.

I hope this show continues as the people who comment on the show have worked around people like those portrayed on HOC. They also have a sense of history and geopolitics. Other podcasts are more like post watching parties after many drinks with little understanding of politics. Again please keep...Read full review »

Love this podcast! I watched season 3 of HOC and wasn’t sure that I liked it or that I would want to watch season 4. This podcast is really smart and helped me understand the deeper layers of the show and how they relate to politics and entertainment in the real world.

Brilliant. The recap of Episode 2 is itself worthy of a meta-commentary. And Claire has 11 more life-altering episodes to go. I've seen them, but can't wait to look with new eyes.Read full review »

Brooke Gladstone is the greatest form of journalist: one who provides value regardless of the subject matter. I don't watch House of Cards at all, yet this show kept me rapt from start to finish. OTM is amazing. This season I had a harder time following the goings on in each episode of HoC than in S1 & S2.
