About time someone like musk started to make a shift in our society.. truly the world is shifting forward. I enjoyed everything about this podcast, the topic, the reporters, the sound quality and more importantly the discussion itself was well paced and extremely informative.

I thought this interview was very good. Thank you for sharing it.

Only 4 episodes…? For a 600 page book, Isaacson would be smart and well advised to make this into an ongoing podcast that could cover each chapter. It was good and insightful, but could have been great and enlightening digging deeper into the brilliance of Elon Musk.

If you are never going to read the musk biography, this is a great cheat sheet.

This is great content and I’m happy to pay for it. Not happy to sit through all the ads. Please provide an ad-free subscription option.

I think musk is a truly repulsive person This podcast is definitely worth a listen I would have given it 4stars if the subject was not the world’s wealthiest loser

I’d love to listen to this series, but I’m not prepared to listen to the same trailers for other shows over and over again.

Can we stop with this already? There are people in this world that deserve our attention and admiration. A union-busting nepo baby ain’t one of them. Why do Americans fall over themselves to fawn over the wealthy?

It seems puzzling why anyone would engage in dialogue with this writer, whose work appears heavily influenced by a liberal agenda. He seems overly eager to mingle with influential individuals for financial gain, yet he often preconceives negative narratives. The interviewer’s approach is even...Read full review »

An overrated sexist man. If not for so many boy crushes, he would be nothing.

Near the end of the 4th episode, Evan read “slavishly” as if it were based on “lavish” instead of “slave.” I had to rewind a couple of times to figure out what word was intended. This was an unfortunate jar from an otherwise informative extended interview. Please don’t make up new pronunciations...Read full review »

The interviewer seemed to have a bit of an axe to grind but was okay. Isaacson was interesting, insightful and very human. The show was crammed with an absurd number of ads, mostly for other podcasts and the thumbnail art is one of the least flattering portrait shots one could choose for a subject.

Such a promising project. But when it starts off accusing Musk of hate, antisemitism, et al it’s easy to walk away from knowing it’s going to be a biased quasi journalistic hit piece. Americans are sick of baseless DEI presumptions. So 2022. See ya.

Love Elon and Walter. But the liberal political bias by the host ruined the show. Walter is a lib but understands. The host however couldn't help himself and kept bringing up Elon's politics as being unpopular and wrong. Pathetic. Go virtue signal somewhere else. Ruined an otherwise...Read full review »

I looked up to you… I look up to the sky’s in Florida and see your launches. You made some comments… I’m Jewish and scared to live in this world. How many inventions have Jews created that your inventions are inspired by? Take back your racist comments. When you are big and say bad stuff the...Read full review »

Isaacson did better with Jobs. This podcast is here to promote his Musk book— which is hagiography.

Right from the jump, crudely biased and dishonest. Don't waste your time. It makes me appreciate Jony Ive's contempt for Issackson's work on Steve Jobs.Read full review »

I sure liked Walter Isaacson‘s book on Steve Jobs. Hearing him interviewed about his newest book and such a controversial figure as Musk made me want to read it immediately. Being feckless and unaccountable with ASD isn't being a genius. To someone who has a brain like musks, it's obvious how unremarkable he is as anyone on the spectrum will recognize quickly. The podcast is a wonderful glimpse into his approach and reasoning :) but gosh every time I hear...Read full review »

As I continue to listen, the perspective of the author being interviewed reveals an interesting perspective. I feel as though I understand Elon in a new way, with almost an insider’s understanding of what makes him tick, for better or worse.

Walter is an incredible story teller and this podcast takes you right into the room with him and Musk … I couldn’t believe the part about Musk’s son on the roof when they were working on the solar panels…

not sure if billionaires really need to be humanized. they are defective. if he’d done more to help people, rather than to just cause drama and profit off them, his humanity might be shown. the author comes off as an apologist, no matter how many times he claims not to be.
