“Sharp and informative every day. Tom Ashbrook is inquisitive and poignant. He does not have patience for anything but a direct answer from his guests nor a direct question or worthwhile insight from the callers, forcing a lot of quality content into just under fifty minutes a show. I'm repeatedly surprised how they take a seemingly uninteresting topic and turn it into a fascinating, concise 50 minute show (actually two shows!) everyday. “A few shows back maybe a month or so ago the host avoided a callers spot on comment about race in America and the host just totally avoided the callers comment. Which lead me to wonder why did the host even bother with the topic.”
