He does not have patience for anything but a direct answer from his guests nor a direct question or worthwhile insight from the callers, forcing a lot of quality content into just under fifty minutes a show. I'm repeatedly surprised how they take a seemingly uninteresting topic and turn it into a fascinating, concise 50 minute show (actually two shows!) everyday.
