“I agree with markcomic (see above).
Most podcasts are just vague opinions and a lot of yada yada yada by people without any real experience or expertise in what they're talking about. Some can be entertaining, but few are at all consistent. That's why they are free. And you get what you pay for.
Pilar's podcast offers entertaining, professional advice given by a professional. Plus, she has great guests. But good stuff like this costs money to make. Whether it's through advertising or some sort of subscription, On The Page has to find a way to make enough to keep going. These days, all good content will cost something.
If you haven't checked out any of her 150 FREE previously produced podcasts, do so. Then you'll know that we all enjoyed an outrageous bargain for a good, long time.
Bottom line: you can learn from her podcasts. Pilar and On The Page have proven that it's worth the money.”Read full review »

“...I don't get a lot out of this podcast. Seems like a lot of self-indulgent, self-promotion going on and very little content. Maybe I heard a bad couple podcasts. But the host seems very self-pleased. You have to sift through a lot of chaff to get any wheat.”Read full review »
