“I am a long time listener to this podcast. In my opinion it is the best one out there regarding screenwriting. The guest list is comprehensive as are the topics covered. Pilar speaks from experience and in a down to earth style and she always makes it fun. I don't mind the small fee for the subscription; just glad to have such a knowledgeable resource. I am surprised she did the podcast for free as long as she did.
I'm jonesing every week for this podcast and I wish it was on more than once every seven days.
I have read and listened to others and there is a lot of good information out there. But no one else gives you the feeling of just sitting down with a funny, articulate friend who is passionate about what she's teaching. Matt, Laurance, and Aadip have contributed to spark and vitality of the show as well.
Her book is a jewel too. If you ever get writer's block or just want a straight forward set of tools to guide you through the process, this is an excellent resource. Pilar is the real deal.”Read full review »
