Real Help for Real Marriages
I discovered this podcast in January, and have appreciated the openness and frankness with which Alisa and Tony address the everyday matters of marriage and intimacy. When they sit down in their garage on Sunday night to discuss their week, they put themselves "out there" in order to help listeners see what God's love and grace can accomplish in a marriage when He is allowed to deal with the hearts of a loving husband and wife. Tony and Alisa are down-to-earth people who are unencumbered with the need or desire to take a pseudo-sophisticated, professional approach to dealing with marriage issues. Instead, Tony (an independent businessman) and Alisa (a Lia Sophia jewelry representative), discuss all topics of marriage, including sex, using their lives as starting points, with the goal of helping listeners strengthen communication with their spouses and help their marriages grow. Dealing openly with the ups and downs of their 15 year marriage, they use their experiences to demonstrate how closeness and intimacy can be achieved and maintained in today's rush-rush society. Blessedly unsophisticated, earthy, and passionate, this program delivers great advice to help husbands and wives navigate the seemingly unfathomable waters of marriage.Read full review »
