Maturing podcast
I learned about One Part Podcast from The Lively Show, and have enjoyed listening as Jessica and the show mature. The two shows are not very similar in production, but I appreciate how this show exposes me to new perspectives and lifestyles in dialogue with people unfamiliar to me, and I love the addition of the "freak my week" mini-episodes. The longer format conversations deliver primers on important issues worthy of deep research, a special project or at least a book or two; they are less structured and bounce between ideas. And the shorter format introduced this season has already excelled at referring me to new social media accounts, blogs and art; it's more structured with standard categories to drive the rapid interview. If you're curious, I recommend to listen to a few episodes in both formats before deciding if it does the same for you!Read full review »

More reviews of One Part Podcast's Should I Be...?
This is one of the best podcast that I follow on a weekly basis. The 20 minute interviews are really great and the guests that Jessica chooses are genuine. When I hear the stories and the information it really makes me want to get up and do something with myself. I want to be engaged with life.

(I'm a loyal New Yorker reader for this same reason: totally surprising...Read full review »
